Under Pressure
A close-up study of the pressure vessels from Echoes in the Void's launch sequence
Under Pressure is a close-up hard-surface study of the spherical pressure vessels seen briefly during Echoes in the Void's rocket launch sequence: a standalone deep dive into modeling, materials and surface wear on a piece of hardware that appears on screen for only a few seconds.
The tanks needed to read as functional pressure vessels under close inspection: welded panel seams, valve clusters, warning stencils and a worn, heat-scarred paint finish, built to survive the same tight camera framing as the rest of the launch vehicle.
A small spin-off exercise built alongside Echoes in the Void's main asset pipeline, and a chance to push one single object further than a few seconds on screen in a larger film usually allows.
